We need to move forward and celebrate this series. But to reflect for Leafs fans for a minute: anyone who watched the game last night can perceive the huge gap between where the Leafs are now and where they need to be to win a Conference and have a chance for a Cup. Tkachuk's compliments of the 'Canes competitive level and admiration of the "little battles" on both sides were not sentiments he ever had for the opposition in the last series. Such an awesome competitive level from both teams. If this continues to be a long series played at this level however, one would assume that the winner may be pretty much done by Finals time unfortunately.
We were there last night and what an epic game . As a Canes fan, props to Tkachuck for taking a minute to acknowledge the battle both teams put up. Time for us to flush this one and come out strong on Saturday.
