Suddenly, we're seeing a different team out there physically. The boys matched two of the contenders hit for hit these last two games. "Boosh" has really picked up his game, showing the kids what it takes to play this time of year. That's leadership! Even Joker tried to flatten somebody! He whiffed, but still… Also, that Toronto game is looking more and more like the turning point in the season
Now if only we can win at Home !!

The cheap shots on Dahlin need to stop!! Yes it was good to see Quinn go after Verhage but hopefully Adams can bring in some grit at the deadline. Was pissed that Hathaway went to Boston as he is exactly what the Sabres need !
Also a perfect partner for Owen Power would be Colton Parayko from. St louis . Hes a solid stay at home d man. Problem might be hes contract – 7 years at 6 million! That might scare Adams off.

I have a new Wienner Dog puppy. Put him a leash take him outside, let him "go", take the leash off, keep him occupied, he responds, listens, does as prescribed. As soon as he see's the neighbor dogs running, Tucker runs off with them and there is no more listening, responding, doing what he is supposed to. Go get him, take away the distraction, he becomes a good puppy again. It's sooo hard to be a good NHL hockey player. On the road, the full attention is on the team, each other, the coaches, the equipment, the puck, the other team… Get home they get to breathe, shovel the drive, fix the faucet, hang with the wife, the girlfriend, mom, friends, "the press", the fans on the street…. Like Tucker, they are developing, still… They'll get it… Takes time to win a LSC… The diamond is still rough… Love my little dog, even when he goes "blind!" Go Sabres…

When is the last time we out hit our opponents two games in a row other than the last two. I'm loving the grit the grind. When a herd of Buffalo get mad they turn and charge and just stomp the threat to bits its the truth.
