Canadian player gave the Boston player a tap on the glove he didn’t like it and started to approach the Canadian player whom put his stick up to push the Boston player back, the Boston player had other options but deliberately cross checked the Canadian player in the head, should get a major penalty and game misconduct.

There’s no question that Greer should and will be suspended. My question is why didn’t they give Hoffman 2 for slashing also?
It seems like hoffmans head didnt move much, still suspendable but hoffman added a little to it.
I'd have given hoffman 2 for slashing 2 for crosschecking as well, and probably 10 for unsportsmanlike for doing it before a puck drop.

Greer doesn't like getting slashed and pushed. Don't poke the bear
It’s the right call but Hoffman should have had 2 for slashing. Hoffman shouldn’t start anything unless his wife is there to protect him.
Absolutely, and it wasn't to the head, it was to the face, which is intent to injure.
