One detail your Austin Matthews questions left out is that he has a no trade clause that kicks in on July 1st. Ferraro also said that if he doesn't commit to signing an extension before then, the Leafs should move him so he doesn't have as much control.
I would even consider trading doughty for John Tavares hell no maybe Nylander maybe
Eddie u can't say that blake offered doughty that much money that's what doughty wanted and it was a greedy ask especially for someone like doughty who really looks like he wants to win bad all the time i thought and grew up being a kings fan look at players like Crosby and Mckinnon who took less money so that they could sighn more players so their teams could b better doughty decided to go a different route a greedy selfish route and now u may think that Kopitar should take team friendly deal why doughty didn't at all why didn't doughty just ask for 13 million why not and blake was so dumb to pay that price really disappointed in doughty for wanting that much and tying the kings hands like that booooo on him 👎
Doughty asked for that much money Eddie he probably asked for more but blake probably talked him down to that 11 odd wow what greed doughty went down a notch in my mind after getting that contract and I would definitely try and move him just not for John Tavares no way
