Coming into last nights Buffalo Sabres vs Montreal Canadiens game, it was one the Sabres desperately needed to get something out of and it was a fun one with plenty of action. It saw Rousek scoring his first NHL goal, Gallagher scoring his 200th and ultimately, it came down to a shootout where Michael Pezzetta gave us a LEGENDARY 80s Tiger Williams throwback celly. no reason to do a dumb celebration like that. he isn't even an elite player. the best part of this is montreal won and therefore no connor bedard. this team will not be in the playoffs for many years to come. good. not even carey price can save them, instead his choice was doing coke instead of playing hockey. oh well.

Hockey is the best sport in the world but the mentality is a bit too conservative for me. I loved to see stuff like the "Triple Low Five" by Price and Subban in Montreal as an example or Ovi with the yellow laces. I wouldnt mind seeing more of stuff like this where player shows their personal individuality.

Jesus Christ… lighten up people. This isn't Nick Suzuki or Cole Caufield doing this… it's Michael Pezzetta. The guy is a perennial 4th-liner, who will probably never have a go at the shootout ever again, and he just scored the game-winner, on a pretty goal too.

I would argue that Pezzetta getting dropped by two Simmonds' punches was more legendary, but I guess Montreal fans have to take whatever little victories they can get
