Babs still laughing all the way to the bank. He may have been hated as a person by some, but he still won at the NHL level. I personally think he was a victim of character assassination.

The leafs should hire a trio of legendary coaches in Mike Babcock, Mike Keenan, and Pierre McGuire, plusMike Milbury as GM. If this organization wants to be the villain in their own story, let’s do it and burn it all down.

Anyone thinking Babcock would do better is out of their mind. Anything he said has been said but every veteran coach in the league and with decision to sit Spezza opening night vs. the Sens was a pretty clear signal of what he’s about.

Pretty sure Babcock partially cost the Leafs the 2019 series against the Bruins by playing the same lines over and over while Cassidy adapted but ok
