Chandler Stephenson scored just over a minute into overtime after Jonathan Marchessault tied the contest with less than three minutes remaining in the third period to help give the Vegas Golden Knights a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars.

I feel that the Edmonton series made the VGK stronger due to adversity and physicality of that series.
2 things happened I never seen before.
#1. Chandler Stephenson doing a really dirty cheap shot penalty
It was crosschecking at the end of the 2nd. It was a really dirty play.
#2. Chandler Stephenson scoring a game winning playoff goal
He sounds like such a nice person when he is interviewed that the cheap shot was surprising. I understand some players retaliate for others or there could be more context to it but it was really dirty and cheap to hit him in the back like that though.
It’s looking more and more like Panthers v Vegas will be the final.

The fact that we're still dealing with missed calls leading to goals in the conference finals is just perfect for this league haha! There should be a way to challenge that goal. It's a high sticking penalty that, if called correctly, would stop the play due to Dallas possession.
Vegas appears to have bucked the trend of Jake Oettinger losing back-to-back games in this postseason.
Let's see if home ice can help Dallas even the series.

Vegas played super boring hockey all game. Dallas was actually pretty fun to watch, unfortunately they didn't get any lucky bounces. Only one in the Vegas team who didn't play boring hockey was Jack Eichel.
These announcers are terrible, did he just say at the end that you have to win games you don't deserve sometimes? Oettinger just wasn't good enough, neither was Benn plain and simple.

@7:54 like that's not goaltender interference, standing fully in the blue paint between the goalie and the shooting lane. Still think it's weird that you interfere with a skater ANYWHERE on the ice and it's an automatic 2-min minor. But interfere with the goalie in the crease and you might (meh) run the risk of having an illegitimate goal disallowed. At the time of the game-winner, there was only one person dominating the crease and he was wearing the wrong colored jersey.
I love hockey, and the Red Wings, in that order. These playoffs have been spectacular so far; the OT's, the grinding, and the ref's, for the most part, invisible. 50+ years of hockey and it never gets old. The only way to cap this season in a game 7 3 OT final. I know I won't raise the cup myself, but I'm winning just getting to watch. Looking forward to the Wings getting back in the mix, but if not…….by god, I'm still enjoying hockey.

I keep looking everywhere. I cannot find a loudmouth dallas fan anywhere. Remember game 1s don't matter at all? Ott never loses 2 in a row? Dallas played as good as they can and still lost to a lackluster performance from vegas.
