  1. As a Sharks fan I do not want to see Hertl go at all. If he has to leave then I would like something more the just Studnicka and a pick. Since it's the Bruins we're talking about the return for Hertl should be at least two first round picks plus Studnicka and maybe Debrusk. The Sharks should have full control of this situation, just like how Buffalo has been holding out on trading Eichel. If Hertl does end of being traded then I swear to God that Wilson better not muck it up like he has on so many other things.

  2. Bruins don't have the space. They would need to unload Debrusk and John Moore, meaning they would probably have to sell out by sending multiple picks to get them to take on Moore's contract. As for Studnicka, he's spent 4 years as a "prospect", if there is a team willing to play him give him a chance somewhere else. I think it's safe to say this guy's ceiling is somewhere in the range of a 30-50 point player, but he'll likely never make a significant impact at the NHL level. He's overvalued, so let him go to some team with the curse of wishful thinking.

  3. Studnicka is a pretty high end prospect. Put in a lot of work in the off season to get bigger, stronger, and harder to take off the puck. It'd be a big gamble. If Hertl struggled after the transition and Studnicka had success on the Sharks it'd be a big issue. I don't want Boston to do that. Not before the season begins at least. I'd want to see Studnicka in preseason on the second line a few games. Studnicka and if it's a 1st rounder it's a lot to give up for a rental. The Bruins also couldn't afford to do it just for that. They would need San Jose to take on a contract. Potentially 2. DeBrusk, John Moore, Chris Wagner. A combination of DeBrusk and one of the other other 2 guys. And Frankly if you are going to give up a First in the deal I'd be wanting San Jose to eat the two contracts and wouldn't want to be giving them anything else on top of it. If this trade did happen it could easily turn into a debacle for Boston. I mean if it turned into the situation with the DuBois trade where Roslovic ended up having a better year, and they ended up having Hertl leave at the end of the season to go back to playing out west for someone else. That would be exceptionally terrible. I want no part in that trade.

  4. I like the thought of Hertl and he seems like a definite upgrade over Coyle on the 2nd line. He and Hall together could be a headache for other teams. I think a first is too much though, sure…the Bruins are in win now mode with Bergeron and even Marchand starting to wind down their careers, but the Bruins need all they can get for the future…they still have McAvoy and Pastrnak to build around for years to come. I'd rather see Studnika and DeBrusk deal, maybe throw in a 2nd or 3rd rounder or one of their younger D men? DeBrusk would clear some cap space to bring on Hertl as well.

  5. Love to see content about different teams. Not a fan of any of the fans you typically cover but still enjoy listening to your thoughts

  6. Jack studnicka and a 1st is too much for Boston. I don’t think Boston should keep dealing these 1st rounders
