The Carolina Hurricanes are the Most COMPLETE Team in Hockey!

This video talks about the Carolina Hurricanes and the run they’ve had so far in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. With many of the favorites knocked out either in round one or two, Carolina has a golden opportunity to win their franchise’s second Stanley Cup. They certainly have a team that is capable of doing it, it just depends on if they can finish the job or not!

  1. The game has changed. The Carolina Hurricanes have bought into what Brind'amour is teaching. The run to the Stanly Cup begins in the offseason. You show up to preseason ready to play in game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals in Carolina. If you don't you wont be a Hurricane for long

  2. one correction, Carolina did not lose in the first round in 2020. We have won a playoff series in 5 straight seasons. In 2020 we swept the Rangers in the first round.

  3. honestly Canes should have been the favorite as soon as Boston went down but Nationally no one wants to give us credit. Thanks and Thumbs up for finally a positive/optimistic analysis of the Canes by someone

  4. Whoever wins between Carolina and Florida are likely the favorite to win the Cup…

But we have seen many favorites gag this playoff so far…

  5. The Stanley cup or nhl playoffs are not country based. you want to talk Canada winning watch World Cup, olympics etc for that. This rhetoric doesn’t even make sense since every teams is a combination of Canadian, USA and European players. It’s so annoying and I’m Canadian so it’s not like I’m biased.

  6. I would reserve judgement until they win, Homer. The Other Guys are all pretty good, too, you know.

  7. How many different teams called Carolina Hurricanes are there?

How can a singular team be a plural?

    This video's title are dumb.

  8. if cats play half the way they have been playing caines have NO CHANCE….who have the caines beat? exactly

  9. i been saying this since before last years playoffs. i dont know why everyone wrote them off this year, they have been insane always

  10. Thanks for putting this together. I don't want to take anything away regarding what the Panthers have done so far; their brand of playoff hockey presents a challenge for anyone. The Hurricanes demonstrate a mastering of the fundamentals better than nearly any NHL team. They've excelled at digging the puck out of the corners with all of their lines, and they can hold the zone for days with their blue line weapons.

And spot-on regarding Slavin. I won't say he's the "best" or "most complete" defenseman, but he plays the position of defenseman as well as anyone. He worked wonders for Hamilton, and DeAngelo could be turned loose with 74 as well. Now look what Slavin's doing with 38-year-old Burnzie; Elliotte Friedman said Burns barely missed the cut when he voted for the Norris. Canes goalie have a .965 SV% at 5v5 with Slavin on the ice.

Lastly, I love what the 2nd line is doing — that "next man up" mentality has guys like Martinook and Noesen coming out of nowhere and contributing. Also, is there a better 3rd pairing than Chatfield & Ghost? Anyway, thanks again for the vid, and Let's Go Canes (from a Sharks fan).

  11. OHHH CAROLINA GO CAROLINA
CAT GOT LUCKY ONCE THATS IT.
    OHHH CAROLINA

  12. Florida is designed for playoff hockey. Nuff said. Canes still designed for regular season a tad bit too much, need some more changes to get there. I’m not saying canes can’t beat Florida, but Florida is the advantage in playoffs.
