As a Montreal fan, this is exactly what I didn't want to hear…that the four sure-fire future stars in this draft would be gone before the Canadiens make their pick at number 5. The Dobber guy is even kicking the tires on someone other than the number 5 pick that most other draft guys are touting. Could be a %$#@& swing and a miss with a priceless high draft pick. It wouldn't be the first time.

insane showcase love his takes even if I hardly disagree on his Dvorsky's ranking but yeah Simashev is a potential monster only regret the fact he is LH and not RHD and Wings are stacked on the defensive left side (Edvinsson, Wallinder,Johansson….) unless Yzerman makes an insane move.. in order to move up in the upcoming draft and let go Johansson or Wallinder and so now he would jump on Simachev with the 17th pick if Michkov slip to 5 I'd love Yzerman pulling the trigger for Michkov

I think Leo Carlsson is going to be better than Adam Fantilli in the NHL because of his composure and ability to dictate tempo of the game. Both of them are incredible players but I feel like Leo Carlsson compliments his teammates better with his style of play.
The Pat's didn't refuse to trade Bedard, he didn't want to be traded.

Leo Carlsson has already established himself in a mens pro league while Fantilli and Bedard are playing against boys. I think Carlsson is right up to Bedard.

A Russian LEFT handed Dman going in the top 10? Even if he is the next Orlov, isn't it the RHD that go higher? ASP and Reinbacher are highly ranked because teams are always desperate for RHD.
If Briere is truly making the pick for the Flyers, it won't be Dvorsky.

Good show, man, but this guy had some kooky takes. Cristall 6th and Perron 8th??? And I'm not sure what's worse, that he doesn't realize the Blues organization is loaded with young top 6 wingers or that he thinks the Blues will make a dumb pick. They've been one of the best drafting teams in the league since like 2005, despite not having a top 10 pick for the last 15 years.

This is very depressing for us Montreal fans. "The top five of this year's draft blow last year's first picks out of the water" You are right, what a crummy year it was to be first pick.. I remember, everyone were just trying to not pick a bust…I think it was one of the worst draft year and there won't be a lot of first line material there.. maybe it was because of the COVID and the lost season of development..
It'll be interesting what the Hawks do with their wealth of picks now that they have the top prize. I can see them package their extra 1st this year and next to move up. Now, they can totally gamble.
If the top 4 is off the board you can bet that Montreal is going with Leonard before Smith.
