I would have added Josh Anderson to your list
Edmontons' on big Daddy's n Johnny D's no trades lists but Edmunds'sons ' n some bubble wrap (we'll take the bison with no horns). gets them some space to add a shooter. Thanks Gally
Take that trade from Tampa for big Joe. Tampa owes us after fleecing us on the Drouin trade.
Can't trade Edumdson, then next year you'll have a big hole in the lineup, and you'll have to trade for – a Joel Edmundson. But you could trade him next year once the rookies have 2 full seasons under their belt. Likewise for Anderson, can't trade him, need him too much. But Gallagher can go, he's a dead weight with that contract.

Drouin Appears to have zero value. He will just play out his contract and get released. A third? Better than nothing.
I don't think we'll get a first for Monahan, unless we throw in something else . He's too injury prone.
Would not be a bad thing for Monahan to stay, signed to a 3 or 4 year deal.n He takes a lot of heat off Suzy as a really solid second center.
You can try and try to trade Drouin, but you will only get a box of tampons and a pair of pink ballet shoes.

no one's paying a 3rd for drouin, it's a heist job if someone does.
I think you may be over valuing Monahan. If I am a GM i would have interest in Monahan if he was healthy and in the LINEUP… the fact that he is injurred lowers his value to a second and a player

good list but i think they should trade Joel Edmunson before the trade Joe Edmunson. Joe is sneaky good. he drifts thru the neutral zone and never even gets noticed and then he STRIKES!! Joel on the other hand is USELESS
Id like to add savard, dado, and joshie to that list. Get then out of here i dont want to see another half assed backcheck from one of these guys give me a bucket of pucks and ill be hapoy with the cap space well make…

Drouin will be pretty hard to trade unless you give something with him , a pick or a good prospect ( Not a top a good) otherwise forget it

Ya I can agree here. We can't keep every single player esp during a rebuild. We're in much better situation than last year, all from trading players. Great job by Hughes & Gorton. Priority # 1 is trading pending UFAs Drouin Dadonov & Monahan. With that, we can mix it up to sweeten the deal with guys like Anderson Armia Hoffman Dvorak & Edmunson. Obviously can't offload them all in 1 year but at least half by deadline and few before draft

Yes, Chiarot trade, but that was pretty much a scam, you can't just compare any potential trade to this one…
This season was supposed to be our "fire sale" season, sadly all the players we wanted to trade did poorly. I don't really expect much.
I mean Monahan is a possibility, but he's like the one guy I won't be that happy about trading.

I agree that all 3 of those fella's are primed to get shipped out. But Drouin is a big problem because, as you mentioned he's in the last year of a bad deal so there is no motivation for Montreal to get out of that contract and on the flip side, he really doesn't bring much to the table to a prospective new team, ESPECIALLY going into the playoffs. This is a guy who has never reached his potential and he always blames someone else for his issues, hell he even changed his uniform number. The guy has that reputation, so no one is going to want to risk bringing a whiner into their room for the playoff push. In fact, I don't think he will get a contract next year!
