Wayne Gretzky HILARIOUSLY chirps the Maple Leafs



During a 7 period game 1 of this round 3 Florida Panthers vs Carolina Hurricanes matchup, we got an absolutely hilarious chirp from the great one himself Wayne Gretzky, during one of the intermissions.

Obviously the Toronto Maple Leafs broke a huge mental hurtle this year by getting into the second round for the first time in 19 years where they met the Florida Panthers. And as elated as fans were, Leafs nation quickly came back down to earth after things didn’t finish the way many had anticipated as they went out 4 games to 1 with the core 4 getting a whole lot of chatter about their lack of production when it mattered. The big 4 in Marner Mathews Tavares and Nylander combined for a lacklustre 3 goals in those 5 games. Not so great, so after Paul Bissonnette threw some shade at the Oilers for being top heavy, Gretzky had to fire back with a hilarious mIlk carton chirp. I cover that in todays NHL hockey video!

    Not exactly sure what Biz Nasty’s point is. McDavid and Draisaitl were both drafted. What do you expect? Trade two hall-of-famers in the name of balancing your lineup. Also were the Oilers of the 80s top heavy because they had Gretzky, Kurri, Mess and Anderson? Seemed to work out well for them. The Leafs made a mistake with Tavares. The other three are players any team would love to have.

    Maybe Gretzky shoild finally man up and admit he highsticked Doig Gilmour in game 6, (and of course there was no penalty) and denied a Habs/Leafs '93 cup final.

    If Gretzky hasn’t got something positive to say, maybe he should just keep his mouth shut. He has that sense of entitlement that he can say anything he wants. Positivity would be nice.

    HONESTLY IS ANYONE REALLY SHOCKED HOW THE LEAFS FINISHED, THEY WERE LUCKY TO BEAT TAMPA WHICH IS AN OLDER TEAM BY TODAYS STANDARDS.
