Devils are NHL’s ‘BEST RECIPE’ for success

New Jersey fell at the second-round hurdle of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, losing 4-1 to Carolina, but with Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier up front and an excellent defense corps in their prime, the Devils look like playoff contenders next season and beyond.

  1. The Devils are Cup competitive right now. In almost every case, that means that the talent pool have all graduated to the Mother club, and assets have dwindled. For NJ, this isn’t the case: not by a long-shot. Waiting in the wings, are Luke Hughes (4th OA,) Simon Nemec (2nd OA,) Alexander Holtz (7th OA.) That’s THREE TOP-TEN picks, who haven’t made the club, but are READY. Add to that: Nolan Foote, Tyce Thompson, Brian Holonen, Reilly Walsh, Seamus Casey, Josh Filmon, Graham Clarke, most notably. The Devils, literally have an embarrassment of riches….They should sufficiently terrorize the entire league, for over a decade. I say this, with the utmost confidence, as Jersey will be icing a literal ALL-STAR team, for every game…

  2. I think Tom will get an NHL playoff proven goalie and resign Meier! 🖤 LGDDD! 😈🔥🔥🖤 VERY VERY BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD!!!

  3. Devils also have Nico Daws who has a chance to make the jump to the NHL. I think Blackwood is done and will be traded. Need to lock Meier in and get Bratt signed. Both could be looking at 7-8 mil for 6-8 years. Wood is ??, Haula I can see coming back, he seemed to pickedup his game last 3rd of the regular season and playoffs. Tatar is also a ??. McLeod they should.bribg back he is a solid 4th line player along with Bastian. And then you still have a deep prospect pool with a few guys not only on D but O as well that can make the team next year. This team looks legit to be a contender for years to come.
