I think you might be missing the one motivating factor for Athanasiou is that they Chicago can go to him and say, "we need you to ride on Bedard's wing and help show him the ropes and succeed."
You keep bringing up Meier as a UFA, but he's actually RFA.
I would agree with the C for B. Hunt. I might hedge it up to a B just because he was forced into a role far bigger than he is suited for and played decently in that role. He kept us afloat when we needed it.
Agree with Chris on the playoff OT question. I didn't even know it was a controversy at all, but no. You don't mess with the overtime rules in playoffs. It's like an old school 12 round boxing match. Yeah, both of them are exhausted, but it really becomes a test of wills at that point. I stayed up for that whole game and enjoyed every second of it.

Thank you, Kyle!!! I was asking for these two guys at trade deadline. If Chris would read my emails, he would know. Btw, what about Tarasenko?? Problem with Athanasiou or Barbashev, they cost money, and COL is always going for the cheap, but there is Michael Bunting, who will not stay in TOR (Canadian Informants). Another name, Jonathan Drouin, love to see him with MacKinnon. DAL will keep Dadonov, what about Marner or Evander Kane?
