    Lol so which is it?

Because the reports came out today that Shanahan told the Core 4 they’d be sticking together.

So if he wants to run it back, then how did he make a mistake? After all, this team is the only team to beat Florida in their last 10 games. Running it back is the right call, right?

The inconsistency on this sub is mind boggling.

Shanahan literally said that he went up to Dubas, and told him that he’s seen enough to believe that he wants to extend his as this team’s GM, Dubas getting fired had nothing to do with his performance, that was good enough, it was due to the whole press conference drama.

Shanahan was not happy to see Dubas leave. Dubas has only himself to blame for not staying as Leafs GM. He wanted more money and power when he was in no position to make those demands. The ownership said no. Shanahan was the messenger.

    I don’t know if I’d call Carolina a high powered offense…

People don’t seem to realize that Carolina generates offense the same way Toronto does, off of a good forecheck, established their cycle and dominate possession. The fact that they’re losing should be a sign to you that a one dimensional offense doesn’t work in the playoffs, not that you should double down on this group.

Carolina is extremely average offensively with a lack of top end talent due to injuries to guys like svech and Pacioreti.

They throw a high quantity of shots on net and have a great forecheck- but even that never really created an *elite* offense for them.
