Defensive Mistakes Sink Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars played well enough to beat the Vegas Golden Knights, but a couple defensive miscues ultimately sunk Dallas. John Torchetti and Jody Shelley break down the defensive mistakes.

  1. Suter was the sole reason we lost this game. His defensive deficiencies have cost us big all season.

  2. can we please just gives these guys the controller so they can control the video themselves

  3. If Dallas is that great, how come they only lead by 1 and the knights not even playing their best and they won and controlled the game when it's time to to contol it??? The knights know how to win when they need to win. They are in control when they want to win

  4. I can't stand Suter. Both goals on his mistakes and he refuses to own any of it. Should have never gotten to overtime. I don't entirely blame the first on him as we should have never taken the dumb penalties to be in that situation but the 2nd is 100% on him. Made me even more angry after hearing his post-game press where he wouldn't even own it as his mistake. I hated him on the Wild and hate him even more in Dallas. 2 more years of this frustration I guess.

  5. So… the fact that Stephenson was trying to hit Eichel and the puck takes a fortunate bounce in front of Stone was Suter's fault for not having his stick on the ice when covering two people in 5-on-3. Got it.

  6. Eichel's pass to Marshy was so sick. Amazing anticipation to get it off before Suter could track it and be on the tape of a driving Marchessault. NHL talking heads forgot to mention Eichel's stick check to create the turnover.
