Hampus Lindholm didn’t look like himself in the series against the Florida Panthers. Now we know why.

The Boston Bruins defenseman told a Swedish newspaper he was playing with a broken foot, an injury that requires at least 6 weeks of recovery time. Why was he still playing when clearly not healthy and with options in the press box?

Overall, it was a great first full season for Lindholm in Boston, and he feels he’s only getting better. Having Lindholm and Charlie McAvoy on the blue line will help keep the Bruins competitive.
