the Leafs Tv show is great with Dubas and Keefe.. great core, free agents, spicy trade deadline every year, steals in the draft, competitive enough to give hope and have it all taken away in heartbreaking fashion.. luv em
Unless a magical deal pops up for a player that comes up like I’m just spitballing and let’s say Keller for marner or something along those lines then they should run it back team wise. Essentially getting at least a considered star player back. However if there is one thing that’s blatantly obvious and it’s that keefe isn’t a very good coach and should be let go. Here’s the question who comes to Toronto as hc. In terms of fan favourite then Bruce Boudreau is the pick. In a winning sense, I’d think maybe Peter laviolette is the pick. A wild card option, which odds are won’t happen, could be Patrick Roy (last Canadian team winning cup goalie). I also think spencer carbury has done an awful job with their power play and someone else needs to take that role.
No way are they running it back, changes are coming. And NO F'N WAY does Dubas take a one year deal. More importantly, no way does Leaf's ownership agree to such absolute nonsense. They're not choosing which vendor to buy the jumbo pretzels from, for crying out loud. They're hiring a GM. What's next Biz? Hold a contest and let a fan run the team for a season?

Yeah run it back with a more experienced coach. Keefe hit the blender button wayyyy to many times and caused a very dysfunctional lineup
