Florida Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky earned his first career NHL postseason shutout, leading the Panthers to a 1-0 victory over the Hurricanes in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final
Why would you not screen him hes on fire. Come on, 70 shots 1 goal. Wouldnt it be time to change your game plan. Heres one coaches, theres this thing called screen the goalie, get as many bodies in front of him as you can and fire the puck. I know, its a brand new strategy and the canes coaching aint up to speed on it yet.
Bob Rovsky is the difference. Carolina is doing nothing wrong, they play good hockey, have chances, but the goalie and goalies best friends are on the way. I kinda feel sorry for them, great young team.
I've said this once, and I'll say again: If the Panthers win the cup, Bobrovsky should automatically get the Conn Smythe trophy. The dude has literally been nearly unbeatable. And even if the Panthers lose in the finals against either Dallas or Vegas, he STILL should get the Conn Smythe trophy. He's been THAT good.
I havn't seen a goalie put on a playoff performance like this in quite awhile. He deserves every ounce of credit he gets. I'm loving every minute of it. GO CATS

it just seems like Bobs getting better and better each game. Against boston he had a .891 Save %. Now he has a .978 so far against the Canes

The NHL playoffs are always about the hot goalie. Bobrovsky is totally in the zone right now. As a Ranger fan, I give the Panthers mad props.
