Shootout goal by Canadiens’ Michael Pezzetta was a beauty | HI/O Bonus

In this bonus episode, our panelists — former Canadiens defenceman and assistant coach Rick Green, Gazette columnist Stu Cowan and Canadiens podcast host Andrew Berkshire — join host Moe Khan to discuss Michael Pezzetta’s winning goal in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Buffalo Sabres and his celebration afterward, riding his stick in honour of former NHLer Dave “Tiger” Williams.

  1. If you look at the elaborate celebrations they do in the NFL it really makes you wonder why it's so frowned upon in the NHL. If you don't like guys showboating and celebrating don't let them score as much. I'm sure some guys on the sabres bench were laughing when they saw it was Pezzetta going out for a shootout attempt but the laughing quickly stopped before he started riding the stick

  2. I dont like the nfl celebrations its ALWAYS something. But a player getting excited, there's nothing wrong with that. As long as Pezz doesn't start 'celebrating' EVERY goal… then its annoying

  3. Michel Therrien, the 1990s called, and they want their coaching style back. Who give 2 fu*ks what you think. There is a reason why you are no longer coaching, so shut your pie hole and enjoy the game.

  4. Great video guys. How about Jakub Dobes getting his entry level contract. Big 10 player of the year, stud goalie.
