HEY SPORTSNET IM A HUGE FAN
Should be a huge positive improvement over Treliving. He let Gio, their captain and most experienced D-man, go in the expansion draft and protected a trouble some player in Shillington, who repaid the club by sitting out last year. Hired Sutter, who was universally hated. Let Johnny Hockey go for nothing. Traded a future superstar for two older players, who were then signed to extremely expensive contracts that will not age well. Nothing to show for his nine years as Calgary GM. Good riddance.
I didn't know Calgary's Arena was on ongoing problem. I do remember they had a flood of mudslide that filled er up.
