Hey Gil – I love that the Isles will finally get to play in an outdoor game again and where as I'd rather it be in the NHL Winter Classic This will have to do. I also know that the Rangers have to be the away team because of some BS with MSG but clearly the Isles being the home team in NJ is laughable but not as much as the Sabres being the home team at Citi Field against the Rangers a few years back. The exposure is good but the Isles need a better roster to compete next season whether it be indoors or outdoors.
Honestly, I can't wait! Only thing that I'm worried about are the jersey designs lol. They haven't exactly been the best over the past few years, in my opinion. Either way I'm saving for one!
Not interested. Bettman outdoors games are a worn out fkn $$$-grab. Of course its not winter cla$$ic so who cares. That is reserved for pens, caps, rags, flyers, b's, hawks. bettman thinks he invented the concept of hockey outdoors. nhl should spice up bettman's lame all-star game and play it outdoors in confines where the seats seem a mile away with that nice glare of the lights/sun on the ice with triple the prices. Plus another chance for nhl to display yet another shitty $$$-grab jersey. ohh i am sooo excited. qc would be a nice place for an outdoor game.
