  1. 4 unprotected 1st from the flyers?

    Lmfao. Okay, I accept.

  2. Lavs1985

I understand it’s a dance, but for the most part, give the man what he wants.

  3. JourneyToArcana

Well, it helps to spell his name right first. Usually if you misspell the name on the offer sheet, it won’t work.

    “could be 4 first rounders”

no it would *have* to be, since Flyers dont own the requisite picks in order to make offer sheets at the two tiers below that one, and the tier below those isnt going to buy you a Caufield

  5. burnSMACKER

The Flyers can offer sheet Deez nuts

  6. That would be the dumbest thing Briere could choose to do for his first move as GM. Sacrificing four first-rounders at the start of a rebuild for 1 (ONE) (UNO) player? Insane.

  7. Burgergold

When you had the chance twice to pick him with one 1st but prefer to spend 4 first

4 1sts? From the Flyers? Absolutely, love Caufield but holy cow that’d be a gift, they’d have to make playoff pushes every year, but without 1sts to trade, they’d empty their prospect pool probably within 2 of 3 years trying to upgrade or replace players who walked.

9m a year? That’s Kucherov, Matthew Tkachuk, Kaprizov type money for a player who never had that type of production, if the Flyers think he’s worth that type of money and willing to pay it who are we to say no

“Caulfield, who scored 84 points last season,”

  10. WeathervaneJesus1

Not only do they get picks, but also the cap space that he would have taken, which would be Dubois in a year’s time. So 4 1sts and Dubois essentially.

With the way our drafting has been for the last 20 years I wouldn’t even for 4 1st

  13. Petit_Hughie

They, 100%, can go for Cole Caulfield.

Joke aside, what a shit website.

    >Caulfield, who scored 84 points last season, has not yet been involved in any contract negotiations and may end up as an RFA, depending on the outcome.

    Incredible journalism here.

Lol Cole also has to want to sign it, why would he want to go to a team that’s about to explode? At least MTL has great signs moving forward with prospects

  15. WintertimeLivingEasy

They are free to offer sheet him 10.5m, I’ll gladly take the 4 first rounders.

Habs are matching all the offer below that.

  16. xc2215x

They would need to give us a brilliant offer for that to happen.

  17. Goalchenyuk87

They had the chance to draft him, they went with Cam York. They can fock off.
