All 4 UFAs on that list are gone.

Donato, Geeks, Stunner and Borgs are all coming back. Fleury and Soucy are probablys, and the rest are likely gone.

Most of the media I’ve seen has Soucy’s value at 3 years 2.5m AAV – I know fans don’t love the guy but who are we getting that is better than Soucy at that price point?

When will we likely hear anything about this?

Dunner, geekie, and Borgen all need to come back. I’d also love to see them take a stab at soucy, but I don’t think it’s likely.

With burky coming back and wright and Kartye likely getting some consistent minutes, I don’t see them making a move for donato and Sprong (Donny could return as our 13th forward, but I’m not sure he will).

No chance for froden and joner. Driedger coming back leaves no room for joner (especially with daccord still in the system), while froden is just excess goods.

Only one I’m not sure about is fleury. Could see it going both ways honestly.

My guess is that Soucy depends on Dunn. They’re going to try and sign Dunn obviously, but if they can’t come to an agreement Soucy is probably the safety net.

I don’t think they keep both Soucy and Dunn, mostly because Ryker Evans is probably NHL ready and will need a roster spot. Soucy probably does OK in the current market and can get paid more than we want to.

Donato probably gone, for his own career’s sake he should probably go somewhere where he can get more time.

Jones and Froden, almost certainly gone.

Geekie probably gets a contract, impact guy in the playoffs and very versatile.

Sprong is gone. Another team will pay him more and give him a bigger role than we can. We have too many depth guys now and prospects in the wings.

Dunn obviously we try to keep, only question mark is if they can agree on a contract.

Borgen we probably keep, Fleury we probably keep. Both are pretty economical.

Generally speaking we have prospect forwards that keep crowding our depth forwards, so those guys are harder to justify retaining.
