  1. Arreola,Zouma,Vlasic & potentially Kral if we some how get a striker this will be an unreal transfer window. Kral is probably my only 50/50 I thought he was poor at the euros

  2. Excited by Vlasic adding more to our attack, time will tell with Kral loan the best option for us, Cheers Geo.

  3. The thing will int tournaments is players can look class or crap over 3 or 4 games and its not an accurate reflection of their overall ability. Enner Valencia is a case in point.
So if Kral is decent it has to be taken from a longer term view than the euro's

  4. Alex Kral was my second favourite player at Slavia behind Soucek. He really is a great technical defensive midfielder. Would love to see him at WHU…

  5. Thought Kral was awful at the Euros. Looks really slow & loses the ball constantly. This is the signing that worries me. We still desperately need an out & out striker. They've had well over a year to get one in.

  6. If we get Kral and Coventry has a successful loan, I think it smells a bit of Rice Succession Planning. Whilst I like the idea of us planning ahead, it's the bitter taste of losing Rice. To be honest though, 80-90m plus prize money makes that team very strong…

  7. I think kral is the most exciting one weirdly… Awful in the euros, but plays well for club. He's also tall, fast and strong which is what's need as a cm in a Moyes team

  8. Excited about Zouma and Vlasic but it’s a bit funny we will have spent 60 million and when Antonio inevitably gets injured we still won’t have a striker😂😂

  9. Yeh would love to have seen Coventry stay this season but what can you do

  10. Vlasic will be a starter cos Moyes doesn't fancy Benrahma. Never has. Aint his sort of player.

  11. Conor Coventry needs to play. He's not gonna get in this West Ham team ATM.
Kral will be ample cover if we get him .
Vlasic excellent signing . One football pretty decent. #coyi ⚒️⚒️⚒️

  12. We do love a Croatian at West Ham. Plus triple Czech mates? Great stuff.

  13. Coventry from what i have seen, i would pick in def mid ahead of noble and lanzini personally, i would keep him around for sure, 1-2 injuries in that position and we're in trouble. Vlasic is class, two footed, high acceleration, dribbler, long shots, playmaker, i think he will improves us in cam, i like Fornals but Vlasic i feel will wins that battle. c'mon sign another 2 players COYI.

  14. Vlasic is the exactly the sort of signing i want us to make, 23 years old, proven in europe, plays for his national team… COYI

  15. Glad we got Vlasic in. The Palace game showed our lack of attacking depth and him being an option shakes things up a bit.
Kral is an interesting signing. Some people have doubts over him because of the Euros but I wouldn't look into it much. Tournaments are crazy. You can see a player look a million dollars yet do nothing afterwards. If Moyes rates him then I am happy.
The only downside is that signing means Coventry is out on loan and I really wanted to see him get a chance this season.

  16. A bit concerned that Vlasic was pushed out by Everton really quickly. He looks good on YouTube clips but doesn't everybody? Hopefully he will be as good for us as he looks. It puts pressure on our front midfielders and gives us depth for Europa etc so that is really good. Would still like to see a striker signed.

  17. I hope there is an option to recall Conor in Jan should we require his services?
Touchwood, but if say Rice was to pick up an injured for any length of time, his cover will need rotating. Nobes will find 90mins tough and in Europe, there will be 5 subs allowed which is going to stress our squad even more.
Anyhow, I am very pleased with the direction Moyes is forging. We are a lot stronger than last year & that trajectory will continue as long as he's our gaffer.
    COYI ⚒

  18. Bit underwhelmed by Kral over the euros tbh. Can see him being a Carlos Sanchez type player – though I get that Coventry will have no chance to get ahead of soucek/rice so might be best to let him leave

  19. Got Season ticket at Posh as I live up this end so at least I can see how Conor gets on, although I’d rather keep him at West Ham, he will get game time, Posh need him, been playing well but lack a really decent CM

  20. I know you're excited, Geo, but do spare a thought for Lingard in all of this. The chances of him staying at Manchester United now seem even higher. 😢

  21. Vlasic's price will double up in a year or two and he will become your best player very quickly

  22. All we need now is a striker to cover / challenge Antonio…. Turning into not a bad window in the end…….. wish they would not leave it so late!!!

  23. This club is moving into a completely different zone. No more silly tweets from family members of the owners, no more silly kite flying to keep the fans “ happy” , no more over the hill past their sell by date has been players looking for a final pay packet. Finally we seem to be behaving like the “ big” club we are! Have the owners finally learned how to behave ? I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Let’s march on together.. COYI

  24. Brilliant window. Not just good individual signings, but they add up to a real plan for the future. Moyes has a strategic long-term vision for the team. When did we last (ever) say that about West Ham? Strong squad for Europa League and the cups, bringing the average age down, smart loans for Coventry, Odubeko, etc, which is another good investment in the future. And maybe a future midfield without Rice after he leaves next summer – plus the money we'll get when we sell him, to keep building. (Sorry, but it's going to happen.) Really psyched for this season now.

  25. Is Vlasic another Ayew like signing? Mega bucks transfer fee and no specialist position and not a P L certain first team starter ?

  26. My nerves were on edge for weeks with this window but finally we have added 4 top players. The board seem to enjoy making us wait right till the end for players but fair play they have delivered here. The lack of a proven back up striker is still Moyes's achilles heel however.

  27. Vlasic is an unknown quantity for me personally but I'm hoping he settles and beds in well then kicks on like Ben, Bowen and others. Hopefully as good as Antonio.

  28. Vlasic is a talented player and a hard worker that comes from a family of athletes. I believe West Ham is good place for him and that he will preform good the club. Looking foward to seeing West Ham this season….I got a good feeling that its gonna be a good season for West Ham!
