Anyone else sick to the stomach that Vegas will likely win the cup ? ( really Darren a terrific story ? Or a total bunch of BS )…or failing Vegas winning, then its Florida ??? A franchise that is barely hanging on in that market.
And BTW does anyone think the NHL and Players Assoc. are actually going to make money off the TV ? Are advertisers going to fork over money for ads during what surely has to be some of the least viewed Playoffs ever ! ( not including the excellent first 2 rounds) How is it NOT in the NHL's interest to get some Canadian teams into the final 4 at least ? We all know the 30 year meme but is it just a meme anymore ?

Feels like they might be in a similar situation to the 2021 draft. When Clarke was rumored in our range but LA took him so we moved the pick for Dman (OEL + garland) since we would be picking a fwd with similar trajectory for garland.
I predict they will wait to see how things fall, maybe they are looking at Michkov dropping. But if they cant get either a superstar foreign forward, or a legit Dman I think they move it.
11th overall + Brock Boeser (23rd overall) + Rathbone/Hoglander/Podkolzin can get you what bag of toys on draft day? A Dman + prospect? Remember, this is a retool after all. They need to be competitive next year.
