It hasn't work not going to work
Great signing by the Sabres to retain Kyle Okposo's services–he's their Captain and will be the leader of their coming uprising. IMHO, the Jets would be foolish to trade Connor Hellebuyck unless the return is HUGE because he's the primary reason they are a competitive team. NHL Player Safety really needs to strive for some consistency in penalty assessments.

I think the Coyotes will likely opt out of their temporary lease with Mullet Arena in Tempe, stay in the Central Division, and relocate to Houston, where they will become the Outlaws and play their home games at Toyota Center next season if Alex Meruelo decides to sell the Coyotes to Tilman Fertitta.
Ya the Jets are going to trade Hellebuyck to squire Comrie to fill the role.

Stick to the Leafs
All Zito did was the Tkachuk trade, Sweeney made the Orlov and Bertuzzi trades, and Nill made the Domi and Dadonov trades. I feel like at least one of them shouldn't be on this list (leaning towards Jim Nill). Now I would have given the award to Fitzgerald from NJ in my opinion, putting money into upgrading the D-core, getting Timo Meier to boost the top 6 and Vanacek to stabilize the goaltending for the season. And especially with the big leap they took this year (bottom 5 team to a top 3 team and 2nd in the division).

Is there a point to cheering for the leafs when the G.M isn't really the G.M and someone else or "the board of governers" are making team descisions. If there is a great hockey mind within the front office then let the guy make the adjustments and not listen to the "board of governers". I really do not understand. I think all the "board of governers" and Shanahan want to do is sell tickets and not end the 56 year Stanley cup drought.
