As a Stars fan, I absolutely agree that Benn should be suspended for it. But if Petrangelo only gets a 1 game for a 2 handed axe chop on the leading playoff goal scorer, then Benn should get 1 game. I think a 1 game suspension for both is laughable, but unfortunately thats how "player safety" works lately. As for the fans throwing stuff on the ice, classless and embarrassing.

He did the same thing to the back of Dylan Larkin’s neck a couple seasons ago, causing Larkin to miss the remainder of the season. In an interview, Larkin said he ended up in the hospital for a few days, and was barely able to walk for quite a while afterwards. He almost needed surgery, but thankfully was able to heal up without it.
Stone commited an interferance on Benn, and once again, it wasnt called. Stone wasnt even hurt. Hes a pusscake flopper.
I can’t tell which was worse: Benn’s actions or Dallas fans doing their best Vancouver/Nashville fan impression… Stay classy Texas!
