Love Rod’s reaction. He’s a cool guy, and I do feel for him. They played great. They consistently outplayed Florida in the majority of those games, it’s just Florida is on fire right now. They also have been phenomenal with their ability to pounce (pun fully intended) on those moments of opportunity. Just one lapse and they’re extremely dangerous. Also, Bobrovsky. He may have FINALLY let in more than 2 goals in a game (first time since against the Bruins) but he still made some great stops. You can’t ask your team to get more shots on the net than Carolina was getting so that probably contributed to the reaction. How much more could he have asked of them? Florida is just dialled in right now.

The sweep felt anything but a sweep. If you watched this series, Carolina really was doing everything they could. All games were differed by 1 goal, and Florida just happened to be at the better end every time. This is coming from a Cats fan. Feels so good to have luck on our side for once.
