So every season I think the refs will be better but they aren't. One day I would love to see a fan throw a Officiating Hockey book on the ice.

Stutzle needs to grow up a bit, he already has a reputation for being the biggest flopper in the league.

Stuzle needs to get a talking too from the league, this isn't soccer kid. Either stand on your own 2 feet or let the players have some fun dropping the gloves with him. Deserves to get his head caved in

That was just one of the really bad calls last night, and they were doing it against both sides. It was almost like the refs were paid off to call everything near a penalty so the NFL refs look better.

The NHL has ruined the sport of hockey. You can crosscheck a guy 5000 times and it's not a penalty, but if you crosscheck a guy in the legs it's a penalty?
This is a great example where the Pens should jump Stutzle after the PP to even the score for his diving. Both refs missed the dive so leave it up to the players to punish Stutzle since the refs did not.

I've seen more double minors for complaining about calls this year than all other seasons combined. to make it worse they seem to give these out on the softest initial calls too..

What ever happened to calling unsportsmanlike penalty on dives? There were a few years they were calling them all the time, now you never see it even when they are obviously diving.
No horse in this race, but to me this was a blown call. I don't think stutzle dove to draw a penalty, i thought he dove in an attempt to shoot the puck. That's on the refs for a ticky tack call.
I would like to see the refs have actions taken against them for games like that. They remind me of bad cops who use their power in most definitely the wrong ways. I've seen way too many bad calls throughout the league this season and it's sickening.

It's a hooking penalty for sure and it would've been called even if Stutzle didn't embellish it. But Stutzle still embellished it and should've been called as well

They should call diving penalties more often. I know they call embellishment penalties but those are always called to offset the original penalty call. Call diving straight up on its own as a penalty cuz its starting to happen more and more frequently. Its getting ridiculous and must be dealt with properly or dare i say hockey players will start being compared to…soccer players…ouch!
When I read the title, I thought it was referring the bird that symbolizes peace, not the past participle of "dive".
