I’m worried about the way he creates, a lot of weird point shots, a tonne of assists off rebounds, not sure how translatable it is, add that on to the mediocre feet and dreadful defensive play, dont think he’s a 1st rounder
Can definitely see the forward background with him. He seems willing at times to compete and play physically on defense, but definitely needs to become more consistent. I expect he’ll get better defensively just by playing the position regularly and with more game experience; he only just transitioned to the position. If I can get him in the late first/early second round like he’s largely projected, I’d take him. Use him as a net positive offensively and in power play situations while believing in my coaching staff to work with him defensively
Lol, a lot of guys are saying that Dragi have a skating problem but there is none, and none can explain why he could have a skating problem….the feets are moving a lot, onward/backward a powerfull stride, with a good inclination and body position, good acceleration and top speed. The main problem with Dragicevic is that he's playing around 30 minutes a game, its too much, so sometime he looks to miss involvment but who wonts?
Not that I put all my stock into tourneys, but being invisible at the u18s was kinda concerning.
Also, for comparison, wasn't there something about Thomas Harley being a forward turned defenseman relatively recent to his draft year? Or maybe it was that he started playing hockey later than most.

Maybe a possible Sabres draft pick if Ryan Johnson doesnt sign his entry level contract soon. Are there any Big defensive D men slated to go in the 1st round . Bonk from London ?
