In this video I talk about Finnish superstar from the Florida Panthers, Aleksander Barkov. While a lot of the talk about the Panthers is surrounding Matthew Tkachuk and Sergei Bobrovsky, (and rightfully so), I wanted to give Barkov his flowers as well. Anyone who watches the Panthers or hockey in general closely enough, knows how good Sasha Barkov is.

Sasha can easily be a 100 point player when healthy. Easily one of the best complete player on the league.
If I would have to build a team, Sasha is easily the first pick I take to my team. He is not the most flashy and insane scoring machine, but he is definitely the most insanely complete and all-around player you can get today NHL and he always have ace on the sleeve when it comes up to puck control and dekes.

Barkov plays like Yzerman after he changed his game from an offensive juggernaut to a 2-way player.
He does tons of little, almost unnoticeable things that change the outcome of games.

A true classy gentleman with gifted hockey talent off the clock and flies under the radar. He has painted his masterpiece in this Stanley Cup series. NOBODY has ever scored a more talked about and magical gorgeous goal during game #2 that had "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky speechless. I have been spoiled for years attending games in Sunrise to see him play like this.
He will be 4th european captain that won the cup after Lidstrom, Chara and Ovi.
