  1. People def underrating the raiders ability to run the ball, jacobs was great last year. Combined with Garapollos ability to run the offense efficiently and with one of the best rec corps in the league could make this team a top-10 offense, maybe even top 5 (they were 12th last year).

  2. As good as he played last year , with other RBs taking some reps , missing some plays , HORRENDOUS Oline and STILL led the league in rushing shit is crazy šŸ¤Æ

  3. I have a fantasy league trophy on my mantle this year that says, yes, yes he is the best RB in football. Haha

  4. A decent o-line scheme and players will help a running back reach his potential. Its either sign now or trade nowšŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø. Its a ā€œgambleā€

  5. He is top 3 RB, and I think the top 3 guys are all pretty much tied for best

  6. You need to review how many times Jacob's is avoiding tacklers in the backfield only to gain positive yards. Very seldom, he was tackled behind the line of scrimmage.

  7. Keep in mind that in the first several games, the O Line was still starting to gel, and McDumbass wasn't feeding JJ regularly… if you go back and watch them, you'll see him dodge or juke a defender immediately after taking the handoff, in the backfield, and somehow manage to turn a loss into a gain!!!

  8. Yes JJ is an intricate part of this offense! Kid needs to be extended. It would be a travesty to let him walk or trade him. I love his tenacity and motor that never seems to slow down or get tired.

  9. Just with these JKS clipsā€™ JoshJ should get paid šŸ’µ seriously;
I want them to give him a 3yrā€”deal 2yrs, for sure with the possibly to get out of in the 3rd year. Just in case

  10. i think it was jj's rookie year where the team took a run first approach. they had little room for error but where very effective on the o side of the ball controlling the clock and sustaining long drives.

  11. The Raiders ran more power blocking schemes than in previous years, and it helped Jacobs stay healthy. IMO, running backs in offenses that heavily rely on zone blocking schemes tend to get career threatening injuries more often. Thatā€™s just my observation.

  12. Jacobs is a unique RB. He doesnā€™t have great top end speed. But he makes up for it with a great combination of burst and power, extremely good vision, and balance thatā€™s elite. It seems like second level defenders are always out of position because Jacobs hits the lane very hard, getting through the first level defenders quickly. Then he uses his vision and balance to makes small directional changes that gain him that extra yardage. Imagine if he did have elite top end speed to blow past defensive backs. It would be like a video game. Heā€™s truly a pleasure to watch.

  13. Jacobs and Chubb are my favorites. They never stop driving and are strong physical runners.

  14. Jacobs regularly turns 2 yard losses into 6 yard gains – so many times there's a defender in his face at the hand off… one amazing jump cut later and he's sprinting up the field. Personally, I think that the NFL is wrong to "devalue" RBs – the Raiders would have been a 3 win team last season without him.

  15. I am a Raider fan and loves Jacibs so much but we need to give credit to McDaniels, he knows how to use Jacobs, maybe the first weeks we did not but then he realized the gem he has

  16. Jacobs is a top 3 back in the league Garropolo is very accurate kinda reminds me of poor man's version of Gannon i think our offense is in the top 10 and we win 9-10 games..

  17. This past year JJ ran with a purpose. I absolutely would pay the man. The Raiders would be dumb to let the best back in football to walk

  18. It is sad that RBs are no longer a high value position. I believe it is the most franchise tagged position in the NFL. He deserves to get paid, but unfortunately, the RB position is not getting paid.

  19. The GOOD NEWS: He ā€˜s definitely top three. The BAD NEWS: Even if he was #1, you donā€™t over pay a RB. They always regress over time, especially after a big pay day, in this modern NFL. I love Josh Jacobs but RB is just not a position to pay above $12M a year and never for more than 2-3 yearsā€¦no long term deals for RBs approaching 30 yrs old .

  20. Break down his film of 2021 and watch how heā€™s the one who helped get us to the playoffs. Not DC

  21. At 5:40 was not a 12 yard run. More like 7 yards. Love jacobs but hate when people sugar coat to make a point.

  22. Jacobs is great, and Iā€™m not biased when I say this but Najee Harris and the 2nd string behind him (canā€™t remember his name at the moment) are what a pure back should be in my opinion.
