Iron Mike Tyson is one of the most terrifying fighters to have ever entered the ring, having been taught by Cus D’Amato’s in his Peekaboo style of boxing. Today we are going to look at some unique drills that Tyson practiced with trainer Kevin Rooney. These drills paid off big, leading to a number of spectacular Knockouts.

The first drill lead to multiple knockouts, and also one of the most skillful knockdowns in boxing history.

    Iron Mike was the best in heavy weight division, with the Italian wisdom of Cust da amato an the Irish tactician trainer Kevin Rooney, he was unstoppable in 80s an 90s 💪🏽🥊👌🏽

    Don't forget that another reason why this won't work for anybody else is because Tyson is a FREAK OF NATURE ATHLETE.

    I'm no boxer by any means, but I can go 8 rounds in sparring. But I get completely GASSED trying to duck and weave like Tyson does in just 2 rounds. Tyson does this CONSTANTLY for 12 rounds.. it's incredible.

    Poor Mike Tyson. He so dominated boxing at the time, no one on earth could beat him, and nobody ever would have. He was set up by the powers that be in boxing, so that he got a fake "rape charge" that put him in jail for four years. The girl knew what she was doing and got well paid for it, I'm sure. When he came out he was never the same man. Demoralized, demonized, hated, and after four years of not fighting, he could never regain what he had before the rape charge. He was ruined after that. I felt so sorry for him. It was like a hit. They took him out when he was at his peak, and if they hadn't, he would have remained on top for years, and years….and years. It was an "assassination", and it worked. Boxing went back into the hands of crooks and criminals and promoters. back to the same old game. When Tyson was the real thing—a truly great exemplary fighter, like Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano—yet, combining: devastating power, youth, speed, technique, intelligence, and raw animal rage. A killer in the ring. His story, so very very sad. Glad to see he overcame it and is a good human being with so much to give.

    A short hook sends his opponent crashing to ground, and reaching up to make sure his head was still attached. Dayum.

    Everyone is in the awe of Tyson's punching technique but I think his footwork is even more impressive.He moves like a sumo wrestler- almost never lifts his feet from the ground.

    Damn, the power in those training videos is beyond scary. I wonder how he never killed anyone in the ring.
