  1. Dude. Yall never had a d*** elite receiver in years. Maybe never. Why you wouldn't want a great receiver like Hopkins, who can still play at a high level, he can guide the other receivers on the team, be the great vet leader. You need a player like that (Hopkins), I gurantee you if Hopkins was signed by Bears, he will definitely improve Justin Fields as a QB. Fields wouldn't have to be worried about being very accurate on his throws, as long as he can get the ball into Hopkins catching zone, Hopkins is going to get it. Plus Hopkins will open up for DJ Moore and the other receiving corp. And he will fit great with the receiving corp the Bears have. Hopkins bully physicality, jump ball, deep ball threat, height, great hands and great route running along with DJ Moore. Who can do just about almost the same as Hopkins, but has speed, with the other speedsters. It can definitely work, the Bears haven't had an elite offensive player in so long (Walter Payton). This would be the chance to get it while you can, he is a free agent. Why not take the chance, I'm sure the contract can be worked out. He might not ask for alot. Bears are a contending team, I don't know why people think they aren't, with the players that have been signed in the past couple months. They definitely can compete with anyone.

  2. Respect 'coach' but… he's only 31 and can give experience to our WR's if price is minimal and no picks. Helps QB1 develope and let's win NOW!!

  3. Poles wants younger, faster, violent through the draft. Also they have 3+ receivers & 2 youngens. Stop bashing Dave

  4. I mean a veteran with sure hands and a large catch radius can help develop a young QB and make up for mistakes

  5. Let him go somewhere like KC, Buffalo, New England or Baltimore. He doesn't have 3 years to wait.

  6. If bears knew this was gonna happen they could have not traded that second round pick for claypool and than pay as much as it would take to get Hopkins he is gonna be the old Hopkins he always is. He’s got a huge catch radius and he doesn’t drop passes. Imagine if bears had moore and Hopkins and mooney in the slot

  7. There is no rebuild. The time is now. Hopkins would make the Bears a legit Super Bowl contender.

  8. I mean Hopkins has had a great career, but hes older, costs more, and the Bears are looking to rebuild young. I like Hopkins, but he isnt the fit. Spend that money on edge not WR. They are aiming to be competitive for years, not a year.
