Kidney is very far from having the speed for the big league, great hockey IQ but lacks potential. He looks great with 16-20 year old players but against overtrained men…..
Habs need to scout players in the Q who game translates to the NHL game .No little skillies but Big hard skating 200 'players .Seems other NHL teams scout These types of Q league players except a the Habs

Playing with good players makes you shine better. The kid has talent to burn. But the Habs are in a huge transition phase with the youth movement. There is a lot of good harvest once these kids make a move towards the pros. I Hope they give him a chance. MAILLOUx, ROY & FARRELL are hopefully going to make it as well. in 3 years, this team can absolutely shine big time ! GO HABS GO!!
Players like Roy and Kidney in my opinion are players the Canadiens should deal when they start competing again.
