A world premiere! Here’s a teaser, if you can even call it that, for a new routine that Jason is preparing for his next show in Japan, to Josh Groban’s version of “The Impossible Dream”, and choreographed with Rohene Ward. We are literally the first people to see it!
I was originally intending this take to just be used for slow motion B-roll shots, but upon reviewing it, it just looked so beautiful and entrancing, and once I added the music over it… well it was a no-brainer to post this as a one-take. Jason and Rohene are mastered at captivating your attention with the smallest of details, and they already look so clean even at 40% speed.
There so much more to share more from the filming we did at Chelsea Piers last week. Including Jason’s warm up process, sections of this routine at normal speed, and the special “challenge request” he chose from all of you on Patreon. The slow motion enables us to see the absolute beauty and grace – often it's too fast to fully appreciate. This is a revelation!
I had the privilege to see Jason perform Sinner Man during the Stars on Ice tour. One bucket list item checked off! Every move he makes is poetry. Thank you Jordan for all the wonderful Jason footage you've brought us over the years.

Wow what a fabulous program. Jason is one of my favorite skaters of all time. He hits so many gorgeous positions and he’s so expressive and feels the music. ❤️ Watching this slowed down you can see Jason finishing every push in his crossovers, he gets so much speed and power from his edges. stunning…. I was very lucky to meet Tracey Wilson at Javier's summer camp and her excitement to work with Jason was heartfelt as was her coaching of my daughter. Hope these exquisite skill will be recognised and valued for future skaters to aspire to as this brings the audience alive.
It’s a good performance but a skater should be complete and add risk in his routine….. there isn’t any jumping here so for me it’s not exciting …..only publicity …:(

Jason is the only skater who is a real skater! Even his placement of his jumps add to the development of the program! There is too much emphasis on jumps! It is difficult to skate as he skates! I have skated and I have been a skating fan for decades! Jason is the definition of a “figure” skater!

Every movement is based on a circle of movement ! This is figure skating and Jason Brown truly is the finest most artistic & most technically supurb skater l have ever seen ! All the quads others may have don’t compare to the passion for movement and dance that is innate in him ! He is the finest artist in my opinion !❤
