This is the word intriguing ones because Vancouver needs to get out of awful contracts and the Blackhawks are not going to be good next year so there's a potential trade here
If they hadn't made the trade with Hronek they wouldn't have had to trade away a draft pick to dump salary…
Why on Earth would we do that just makes it look worse
As a Blackhawks fan I'm so excited if we can move up to 11th from 19th. I'd be targeting Oliver Moore his skating ability is unmatched in this draft! And also CHICAGO has all the leverage in this deal, we take Boeser/ Garland or Myers contract there is no need for Blackhawks to throw in more than 2 picks would be 19th and one 2nd round pick since we are taking on a bad contract.
Management should be fired you pickup a undersized winger at 15 and know your talking about dumping your 11 pick for 19 for another undersized player they make this trade there gonna regret it for year watch Barlow or dvorsky and bedard lmfaoooo Chicago will finish there rebuild before Canucks make the playoffs it’s not a good idea and yea it is a huge gap this years draft is top heavy after 15 it’s trash and we’re not a playoff team why would we trade a elite pick for a to go down so we can give up a player that’s gonna have a 50 point season next year idiotic lmfaoooooooooooooo plus our prospect pool is garbage totol bottom tier Canucks prospects are all 25+ great idea we need more busts on this team crazyyyyyyyy if Canucks move down they’ll draft another bust
Alvin is an idiot. take what you got. I smell a louie 2 coming
They can have our 1st if they also take Garland AND OEL for a flip.
You know what? this reminds me of the Oakland Seals didn't really care about their draft pick but they could have had Rod Gilbert the HOF player or was it Marcel Dione (the guy who outscored Gretzky his first year for LA)
Mock trade:
To CHI: 2025 4th rd
2026 1st rd
Oliver Ekman-Larsson
To VAN: Ian Mitchell
