  1. Monty's a beast. My trust in him is at the highest level. My trust in him is the highest I have had since Roy. Even when Carey was great i had his nagging feeling like i wanted the puck as far away from him as possible in dig time. Monty has a different swag to him that I haven't seen since Roy.

  2. this is shaping up to be quitew the entertaining off-season. the team will compete sooner rather than later.
so many great prospect. much youth. very wow

great stuff dj junkie. just about perfect!

  3. I stopped "worrying" about our Florida draft pick after they made the playoffs. It had serious potential and it was exciting for a while but it was also unexpected. They're the best part of these playoffs by far, I wouldn't be watching at all if it weren't for them. This to say, go Cats !

  4. Hutson pick is a grand slam ! The kid is pure fire ! Also Monty looks huuuge in the team Canada shirt !

  5. Slaf, will top-out as a bottom SIX player. The real first pick, was Simon Nemec. The guy has the potential to become the greatest defensemen, to EVER come out of Europe. The fact is, that Slaf’s numbers, *so far*, are definitely NOT something to celebrate. Players in the past, with comparable numbers, have not been successful once they hit the NHL. Out of 175 players, with comparable numbers at the same point in their career, have only turned into full time NHLers, THREE TIMES. I know th3 hate will rain down on this comment, but facts, are facts. Barring some supernatural turn-around, don’t expect Slafkovsky to be some kind of game breaker, moving forward.

  6. Monty seems to have attain the maturity to express is full potential . He was lacking maturity and was not able to keep is focus during 60 minutes. Now he's more composed and focused and the results are great. Now we will see next year if he as potential to be a number 1 or a solid back up.

  7. Suzuki also said that Guhle will be going to Nashville because he has family there available for the draft, forgot who. And an invitation to any other teammates to come too. Wouldn't it be funny if Kovacevic's Summer Van trip ended there?

  8. With the plethora of LHD men, is it a stretch to move Mr Hutson to being a forward

    Monty! Monty! Monty!

  9. Monty is the #1 goalie for the Habs for the immediate future. Honestly, they should be contract extending him now. 26 now, will be 27 in the fall, only going to get better, and will be coming into that sweet spot that goalies have (27-30yrs of age) just as this team should be completing this rebuild and making a run for the cup. Extend him already. 4 X 4mil

Slaf, if he is playing for the Habs will be on either the first or second line. Slaf Dach Anderson would be a hell of a 2nd line.

Hutson? Well what can you say about the kid? Get to Montreal already! LOL

  10. I'm excited to see what they do in the off season. Additions and Subtractions maybe even a Dubois trade, and I know before everyone freaks out he's a big physical forward and we need more of them. Exciting things coming I think this Summer.

  11. once the 2023 draft is done, make a poll to know if the fans think Slaf + whoever is pick this year is going to perform better in their 2-3 first NHL seasons compared to Lafreniere and Kakko

  12. I mean, sure, seing Florida’s pick fall that much is disappointing, but if you would have told me a year ago that we could trade Chariot for the 32nd pick overall and a Leafs elimination in the playoffs that would lead to the teams implosion, I would still have taken it in a heartbeat. The Leafs elimination obviously being the core of the deal, the rest is just bonus imo.

  13. Great video bro it's going to be interesting. As far As Florida I m kinda routing for them as well. Who would ve called it.

  14. I look forward to see what team Hughes builds with all the dead weight gone. I'm hoping to see them improve from last season. I don't think they will make the playoff next season but I'm hoping they at least make a push for it if they are off to a good start. I also expect Slafkovsky to double his points from last season. He's going to be a beast..

  15. This grasshopper is now rooting for Florida. What's the difference between thurtee-one & thurtee-two anyway?

  16. There are enough good players the Habs SHOULD come away with 2 decent players maybe not elite but decent players capable of helping the team.
I don't want to hear ANY talk about the Habs needing a goalie ANY decent goalie is capable of winning if you give him a team.
I don't think I can yet get excited but I might be entertained by the Habs play over this next season. What I want to see is improvement in their systems ALL of them because they do not have a good idea on the PP and in their own end….abysmal.I am not talking about TALENT wise I am talking about Hockey IQ they just don't get it.
St.Louis is imo the one who needs to step up and get these guys playing good hockey at least in their own end from there it is nothing but positive results.

  17. I want to make it clear the habs could finish 0-82 but IF i see them playing properly I am very happy because then I know it is only a matter of time before the wins start happening. The biggest glaring weakness is the lack of covering the points they allow teams to cycle it forever because the points are left uncovered so when a tired D man tries to play it safe/smart get it around the boards but nobody is there other than the opposing D man that is BAD hockey.
In front of their net "positioning" is key they need to be on the stick and not standing behind a guy you can't check his stick from behind that way even if your unsure where the puck is you can at least tie up or lift the guys stick because body motion usually tells you where the puck is going.

  18. Hahaha…..good ting the Panthers are not facing the Patrick Roy they saw in the 96' series against the Avalanche. Nuff said….

  19. Turdy-first or turdy-second pick is still a first rounder. First rounders can turn into a shit show or a 10 year vet.

  20. Monty needs to be the CH #1 goalie. He needs to play and progress. Skills, attitude and goalie mindset. He doesn't get rattled easily. Slav needs support from us, the fans. He's a pup, let's no make his life more difficult. He'll get there. I'm sad that Byron won't be in uniform. The hardest working Hab, along with Gally. I hope the CH bring him in for a coaching job or something.

  21. heres the update: habs are trash lol bottom 25th seed for the next 5 years 100%

  22. Easy with the
lane Hutson hype habs fans. To play the pro game a player especially a dman must play a 200ft game.Although, Hutson looks good on the offensive side the US is playing for bronze due to Mr Hutson's very lacking pro defensive play. Germany's only 2 OT offensive chances in which the 2nd ended in the back of the US net were both on Hutson getting beat like mule. thankfully he still is young but unfortunately Im afraid his small size will hamper him and his chances to actually be a nhl dman. Like it or not but the real hockey minds know this kid still has a huge mountain to climb to become an impact pro player.
