  1. Ovi’s an absolute freak just slugging a 32 oz Dr Pepper during the game and going out and putting his shoulder through somebody’s sternum while scoring 1 and dishing 2 what an absolute legend

  2. OV is “now” doing as expected for a 36 year old hockey player. 5 goals his last 15 games, after all, assists are nice but isn’t it about goals for OV? Stand on his spot, let the team move and cycle the puck until OV is unchecked, then feed him the puck? He doesn’t even have to move! Let’s break down his goals this season. First 8 games…9 goals. Next 9 games…3 goals. Next 5 games 7 goals. His last 15 games 5 goals. So, he’s had 2 separate hot streaks which combined gives him 16 goals in 13 games. He’s played 37 games…that means he’s scored 8 goals in the other 24 games. Still, pretty good for a 36 year old. I’d say he’s finishing this season with 40 max. After this season there’ll be no more 30 or 40 goal seasons. Also…they’re trying so hard to feed him that he’s playing over 25 minutes a game the past month! A 36 year old can do that when you spend MOST of your ice time not moving or moving very little. He stays on the ice for the entire PP, unless they score before the PP is over, he’s never off the ice if the other team pulls the goalie and if the puck is in the defensive zone he just stands at the other teams blue line. He’ll not pass The Great One.
