  1. "Roy Jones.Jr" is still the Pound for Pound best that ever did it in the time frame in which he fought in my honest opinion¡!¡

  2. Emanuel Steward said Calzaghe was a better boxer, and would always have beat Roy Jones.
Kellerman said Calzaghe looked like a washed up Felix Trinidad.
Max, just knows about, black ass kissing.
Max shouldn't be allowed to talk about boxing.
SAS shouldn't talk football, after picking Alabama so loudly last year.
    2 incompetent bigots.

  3. Max Roy is your friend and co worker.Roy never fought anyone except Toney and Hopkins. As soon as he lost some speed he started losing fights.Mayweather is the best ever.Period.

  4. Max kellerman knows the score spoke the truth, people only took note of Mayweather when he was touching 30, and that was only after roy grew old.

  5. Man A RJJ fight was a Fucking Show to watch I never aeen anything like him and i was a Hopkins fan growing up But That Damn Roy was King BY FAR Everybody Knew it too

  6. Jones went several fights where none of his opponents won any rounds on ANY of the judges cards. Dude will never get his just due now because of his clinging to a dead career years after he should be retired. I always thought of Kellerman as a retard, but kudos to him for this Jones homage.

  7. An all time great fighter. He only lost heavily to Joe Calzaghe because his speed had left him and he was a little less fit than he had been. It was quite like watching de la Hoya vs pacquiao. Just age catching up with him. Of course, Joe was fairly old too but he wasn’t losing his speed or stamina. If the fight has happened when Roy was younger, I think it would have been much closer, but it’s hard to call. Joe started to walk through his punches in their match but could he have done it when Roy when at his best? Doubtful, even though he had a good chin.

  8. Jones jr is absolutely the most dominant boxer of all time. In his prime, nobody was even remotely capable of being competitive, never mind beating him. It was like an adult beating up on a juvenile. Next level.

  9. I disagreed w/ Max in the sense that Roy's prime was around the mid-90s to about 2003 while Floyd's was more around the early 2000s until he first retired in 2007. They are after all, almost 10 years apart in age so Roy's prime would be earlier than Mayweather's.

That being said, when Roy was in his prime, he looked more unbeatable and miraculous than Floyd did for sure.

  10. I disagree. He was definitely exciting to watch more than Mayweather. His quality of opponents were not the same level as Mayweather’s. IMO.
Floyd was greater than Roy. Floyd is truly TBE.

  11. YOU WERE EXACTLY RIGHT AN ON BEHALF OF BOO ROBINSON MAX KELLERMAN IS HEARBY IMMORTALIZED IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS CASTING AN NO ONE WILL EVER BE 1 LIKE ROY JONES JR. AND MAX TOLD YOU THAT 15 YEARS AGO

  12. Shit. go watch David Benavidez vs Ellis. When did you ever see Roy land 5/6 combinations throughout a fight? Or play Ping Pong with opponents head? Not even Pacquiao…😉

  13. If Roy Jones Jr. would have retired after the Jon Ruiz or the first Tarver fight, he would made a case as one of the greatest pound for pound boxers who has ever lived.

  14. Difference between Ray Robinson and Jones jr. is that Ray Robinson didn't leave behind so many unanswered questions in the divisions he rose to the top of. People talk of Charlie Burley, but Burley retired before Robinson ever became middleweight champion. Not to mention, the mob did all they could to keep Ray Robinson away from the belts; he was far and away the best lightweight in the world and defeated the great Sammy Angott, only to have Angott avoid losing the title by coming in too heavy. The next fighter who can go 100-1 with Ray's level of opposition ca talk about rivaling Robinson.

  15. I once surveyed roy jones jr.'s property on quintette road here in florida. the man rode up on a mule with two pit bulls that could have killed me if they wanted. I said bro I can't belive they disqualified you in that montell griffin fight. what the fuck? and he shook his head as said … "I got it back" we then had a nice laugh and he let me go on about my business. No one better.

  16. Had Roy retired after the 1st Tarver fight, he would be considered the best ever. He was 34 yrs old going onto 35 and had no business getting back into the ring after losing 25lbs of muscle from his first Tarver fight.

The best in his prime IMO.

  17. That is why there was no greatest of all time. We just need to appreciate of whoever is great in our time and nothing to compare about.
