Is Carolina Going to Move Noah Hanifin?

I honestly don’t like the idea myself. Carolina would regret moving him sooner than later.

  1. A lot of Torey Krug rumors in Boston. Is a Krug package deal possible? They also have a few forwards in the system the could include (bjork, jfk, etc)

  2. So let’s say the leafs trade for Hanifin. Would it be a straight up Nylander for Hanifin? I think it would be because that’s the market now. But if I’m Carolina I would try to squeeze a second rounder or one of the winger prospects in the AHL. So Bracco? Grundström? Timashov? Pretty much make ur pick. However, that now creates a hold Matthews wing.

This trade would also create a problem with Left shot d-man. Hanifin, Gardiner, Rielly, Dermott. I think Gardiner would then become extendable for a right shot d-man. However, if u can’t find a team willing to trade a right shot we all know Edmonton is dying for a d-man and would overpay for the services of a d-man. Say pick #10 and something else. Just a thought

  3. Vancouver fans don't want to trade a player off their core 4 for Hanafin who is an elite Defenseman at 21. That's all you have! after Ollie Juolevi for defensive prospects (who is currently 7th on your prospects list) you pool of dmen prospects gets pretty thin. If Carolina deals within that division it's with the Oilers, Ducks, or Flames. They have more to offer. Vancouver fans need to take a long hard look at your roster. You just lost 105 pts from the Sedins. Elder was your Best dman at 31. Hopefully Waddle doesn't call Vancouver. But he is the man to trade Heatley, Hossa, and Kovalchuk as the GM of the Thrashers

  4. people in this comment section don't realize this draft is as deep as it has been in years. if the canucks get a guy who drop to them that they had rated higher than 7th overall they will take him! and they should. straight 7th for hanifin is a deal i could see happening. remember when Schneider got traded for the 9th overall pick? in a great draft year? pretty even trade i'd say.

  5. Is something around Noah Hanifin vs Max Pacioretty would make sense in your opinion ? As a habs fan, I would definitely consider it, but from a Canes perspective ?
