If he doesn't sign with Toronto I'd see him going back home to Arizona.
Not a lot of teams with big cap space. This is the only realistic player that can part the CBJ from the #3 and they can pay him 8 years at the 13-13.5/yr. Two first rounders and a Corson Ceulemons for Auston Mathews plus a long extension. Need to keep Kent Johnson and Jiricek but everyone else is expendable.

That's crazy you guys are trading mateychuk, Johnson, sillinger jiricek and a couple firsts for Matthews. At least you have consistent goaltending, consistently over 4 goals against and under .900 save percentage.
