  1. All in? Yes, and Dubas has also sold the future of the club. He doesn't care, he won't be there after this year. I'm angry enough to use expletives, but the really selfish part of this is that the next poor sap is gonna have to start only what is on the roster, and nothing else. No picks, and very little upcoming talent.

  2. If this current roaster shits the bed early again in the playoffs. Then a major retooling is needed!.

This team has added some much needed size and grit with these two trades. I have a feeling more trades are on the way for cap reasons.

  3. Dubas has sold Toronna's future for his job; a gamble that almost never pays off for GM's, with such desperation blowing their sails. Good luck, but… considering the competition in The East, I'm betting Dubas loses his job anyway.

  4. Toronto only did this cuz it's such an arm's race in the Atlantic. Boston's been unstoppable so far, and Tampa burned 5 draft picks on one player…

  5. There really is only one question. Will this trade plus the O'Reilly trade get them a series win against Tampa? It's really down to that. There's basically a 99% chance that they're going to play Tampa in the first round, and to be honest I'm still putting my money on Tampa. I'll put money on Vasilevskiy over Samsonov, I'll put money on Kucherov, Pointe, and Stamkos over Marner, Nylander and Tavares, and I'll put money on Sergachev, Hedman, Perbix and Bogosian (if he's healthy) over Reilly, Sandin, Brodie and McCabe. Toronto right now really only has one goal, and that is beat Tampa. And I'm not convinced that they can do that.

  6. Davidson essentially turning Alex Nylander into a 2nd round pick is a comical win. Lafferty was a great bottom 6 guy in his own right.

  7. it's crazy to me that the deadline is still not till Friday yet so many trades. The NFL trade deadline doesn't heat until 24 hrs prior if it does heat up. Got to have a good cap guy in the NHL.

  8. For any eastern team to win the cup, they have to win a finals matchup in 4 series. Crazy that for Toronto they’d have to go through Tampa, Boston and Carolina. Just to get to the finals and then face the defending champions, sorry folks I don’t believe in any other western conference teams, they’re all too janky.

  9. I love this deal. Hopefully, it signals the end of the Holl era. I know the advanced stats say he's average, but his frequent misplays really throw this team out of whack.

  10. There’s alot of package deals this year when a team trades it’s usually for 2 players on the same team. Also I think the Hurricanes will make a big move and Bertuzzi could be there big move

  11. Say hello to the golf course Toronto. First round loss coming this year to.

  12. Last trade dubas needs to make is from Vancouver: Dakota Joshua, Luke Schenn, 4th round pick. From Toronto: Alex Kerfoot
