  1. Still scratching my head over this trade, but like you said. Maybe the front office knows something we don't.

  2. Hill has been bad. The contract made no sense from the get go. He seemed like a fringe starter at best. Wilson failed to aquire young assets that we could build around. More accomplished gms have been fired for less. I dont understand how after failure after failure Wilson gets to keep his job

  3. Reimer is clearly the best of the 3 right now but the other 2 are younger and were acquired by giving up assets… So Reimer is probably traded to a contender and the sharks will once again have an open competition for the starting role… If neither of them shows starter ability, then the team is kind of right back where they were a year ago

  4. The Sharks traded a 2nd round pick just a year ago for Hill and he seems to be falling down the depth chart already? Unless his injury isn’t going away and he’s looking at surgery in the offseason? Not sure why the Sharks traded for another goalie when scoring depth is what they need the most 🤷‍♂️

  5. hill is probably out for the season, reimer will get traded eventually, hill is not as bad as his stats show, I do think the Sharks either hung him out to dry or were short staffed during his stretches. But he does tend to give up a bad one after looking unstoppable. I think kahk and hill are our 1a 1b going forward unless they absolutely suck. And tbh I think the Sharks are better off going 1a 1b with neither goalie being a true starter. With good enough team defense they'll be good enough. You can avoid paying big money, and if either goalie goes south, you can move them more easily.

  6. Who needs a bunch of mediocre Net minders? Would have loved for them to grab Fleury!!

  7. Reimer has been awesome and he's kept the team in games that they were otherwise performing poorly in. He's even kept the L's tight if not forced OT. But I worry if they lean on him too heavily they'll burn him out. I'd rather have a 1a and 1b tandem than a strict starter and backup.

  8. Wait and see how Kahkonen plays and make the decision between him and Hill going into next year. Reimer has proven himself as one of the starters as he's the team's mvp this season.

  9. I said it yesterday too, this team literally has no direction. We aren’t in a position to make a deep playoff run especially if we were looking to deal Middleton and Cogliano…I would have liked to see Reimer and Bonino moved for any assets, we aren’t going to compete this year and most likely not next year.
