The game doesn't grow by putting a team in the same corner of the map as 40% of the league and over half of the East. A team would make more sense in Houston or Salt Lake City. Dallas is already a great market and giving them an in-state rival that will help grow the game south and west
Quebec is looking more and more likely everyday, because Quebecor (the company in Quebec) is really ramping up to buy a team, and the media is going crazy.

Houston… The 4th largest City in the U.S., creates a rivalry with Dallas & adds another team to the South.
Kansas City Missouri we already have a ready arena the T-Mobile Center ready to go for a team

Coyotes has a better chance in staying in Arizona over coming to Canada. If it happens it might go to Kansas or Salt Lake City
