I wish eliteprospects still had their original video of Michkov with KHL footage up. His handling, vision, and movement are unreal, and the int’l clips don’t show it as clearly.

Hope he’s available at 5 and we can spend the next couple years assembling the pieces around him when he comes over

I don’t know what to expect on draft day. Looking at our draft history as an organisation makes drafting Michkov unlikely, but this is a new regime and values different things in prospects than the MB era.

If he’s available, we should take him. This is a game winning grand slam in the World Series kind of pick.

  5. We’re hyping him so much that it’s gonna convince San Jose to take him.

Is that supposed to be impressive? Do it heads up cuz in the show you’re just asking to get blown away like team rocket

I will literally puke out of my ass if he is available at 5th and we pass on him

I know Fantili is a stud pick but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the Ducks jump on Michkov at #2. We’ve seen much bolder reaches in recent years.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if Michkov is still on the board at #6.

Such a fascinating situation with this prospect. There either is or isn’t an issue with the Russian factor (not enough public info to know for sure but GMs will have a better idea on the draft floor regarding timelines/risk of him making the jump to NA), and that makes all the difference in whether he’s a slam dunk pick or gets passed for safer options who also have great upside, if not quite his projected superstar potential.
