he was a bum in the first game, didnt have any intensity, i dont think that was the right call to bring him in… butler would have been a better worker out there
First NHL game, he had like 3 trainings before that game, never played American hockey, nethier on an American rink. You thought he would come and make a hat trick first game? A score would be awesome, and he was close
with that being said, there was nothing stopping him from skating a bit harder, it looked like he was out for a stroll in the park, normally peoples first games they want to come out flying. but ill give him this he was playing pretty good last game.
