Conor Garland – Highlight Reel of Moncton Wildcats Most Prolific Points Producer

Conor Garland is the most prolific hockey points producer in the 20 year history of the Moncton Wildcats. The American-born star right winger has explosive speed and a vision on the ice that continues to baffle his opponents in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey league. In 2014-15, Garland broke the Moncton Wildcats single season record with 129 points, which led not only the QMJHL, but was tied for tops in the entire Canadian hockey league (QMJHL/OHL/WHL).It impressed the Arizona Coyotes enough to select him in the 5th round of the 2015 NHL Entry draft.  The rest of the hockey world suddenly became aware of this dynamic scoring sensation.
That was only a glimpse of things to come, as Garland again put on a show in 2015-16.  As of this YouTube upload, Garland was producing at a season average of over 2 points per game, and was poised to  break his franchise single season scoring record AND eclipse the all time career franchise record  of 326 points, established in 1999 by Sebastien Roger (Roger had a career of 274 games). What is really impressive is that Garland has played about 25% less games during his QMJHL career!
Here are a few magical moments from this season, and the hockey wizardry that is Conor Garland. Enjoy!
