The Vancouver Canucks have made a move to acquire former ninth overall pick Vitali Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in a trade that saw the Canucks send forward Will Lockwood and a seventh-round pick in 2026 to the Rangers.
Kravtsov was expected to be a major difference-maker when the Rangers drafted him in 2018. He had impressive stats playing in the KHL as an 18-year-old, putting up 11 points in 16 playoff games, the most ever by an 18-year-old in the league’s history. But his production has yet to translate to the NHL.

Still think Vancouver should trade for wpg prospects lower or not likely play here.
Chibrikov, zhilkin, kuzmin, rashevsky, vesalainen. Would do better Abbotsford or Canucks
nice trade hes young and msy be a nice fit in Vancity. Plus he has multiple Russian players to lien on. Good Stuff 👍✌
Nothing wrong here on the Canucks side. Lockwood was not getting into the line up. Give the due a chance elsewhere. the guy never complained ever
